HOPAC is in partnership with the Network of International Christian Schools (NICS) and the majority of our teaching opportunities are advertised through the NICS website. Candidates complete the NICS application form and process before being interviewed by HOPAC leadership. HOPAC’s teaching needs for the 2024-25 school year are now posted on the NICS website! Teachers must have a bachelors' degree in education or degree and certification, and three years experience. If you're interested in future years, please contact us.
HOPAC Middle School has a projected 120 students for the 2024-25 school year and consists of two cohorts for Grades 6, 7, and 8. Students represent 25+ nationalities and teachers come from 5+ countries.
Job Summary/Objective:
The Middle School Principal is a member of the school management team and reports to the school’s director. The principal oversees Grades 6 through 8 and is the educational leader of the Middle school; responsible for its day-to-day operation and works closely with the other school principals to deliver on the overall educational program of the school. The Middle School Principal is responsible to provide spiritual and academic leadership for Middle school staff and students, to supervise and evaluate the teaching process and academic programs, to function as the chief articulator of the school’s mission and vision to middle school staff and maintain congruence between the school’s mission and vision statements and all activities in the Middle school. They are responsible to be aware of the educational, physical, social, spiritual and psychological needs of the students and to develop plans for meeting these needs, to make recommendations to the Director regarding hiring and retention, and the assignment of staff, to oversee the Middle school student admissions process including assessment, interviews, and evaluation of candidates for enrollment. They should also foster effective relationships with parents and the HOPAC community.
