We believe in the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Haven of Peace Academy strives to integrate Christian faith into every aspect of student life. A Biblical perspective directs the holistic development of the child, from interpersonal relationships to areas of curriculum. Teachers pray that students will develop a personal faith in God through Jesus Christ. Our faith statement can be understood as a summation of the following beliefs:

We believe

In the verbal plenary inspiration of the Bible, its inerrancy in the original documents, and its supreme authority in faith, life and doctrine;

We believe

There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit;

We believe

That Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who, in the fullness of time, was begotten by the Holy Ghost and born of the virgin Mary, thereby taking upon Himself human nature and becoming God-man so that lost men might be redeemed through His substitutionary death and shed blood

In the bodily resurrection, ascension and future bodily return of our Lord Jesus Christ

In the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature; that men are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ and that only by God’s grace and through faith alone we are saved
