future parents & students

application procedure

Haven of Peace Academy is oversubscribed in many grades and has waiting lists in place, so an early application for entry is recommended.

In order to be considered for a place, parents should complete our online application form. Note that a photo of your student and a copy of their birth certificate and/or passport are required to be uploaded to complete the submission of the online application.

Candidates will then be placed on the waiting list.  As places become available, the School Principals will invite students to visit the school to complete age-appropriate entry assessments.  Places are offered based on the results of the assessments and payment of a deposit secures the position in the school.

Entry to Kindergarten, Grade 9 and Grade 11 is handled in a slightly different way.  The application has to be completed as normal, but this usually has to be done by the end of the calendar year before the child is due to start school.  Children are invited to attend assessment days which take place between January and March.

For all grades, preference is given to students who have a sibling in the school or who have had a sibling study at the school previously. Preference is also given to the children of families who are serving as missionaries in Tanzania.

Grade 11 Merit Scholarship
